L&D Innovator | Terms & Conditions

  1. By applying for L&D Innovator you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
  2. The contest is being run by Interactive Workshops Ltd.
  3. The contest is open to entrants over 18 years of age, in employment within an organisation. Freelance L&D consultants, trainers and coaches excluded.
  4. The contest is not open to Interactive Workshops employees or immediate relatives of any Interactive Workshops employees or any other person professionally connected with the contest.
  5. The contest is open to any organisation – including those Interactive Workshops has worked with or currently works with to provide L&D – with the necessary L&D budget to invest a minimum of £25,000 into an L&D initiative.
  6. In entering an application you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to provide the information and investment necessary to carry out the proposed project.
  7. A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted.
  8. Entering an application is free.
  9. Project fees all subject to VAT and expenses.

    How To Enter
  10. The contest will include those to successfully submit the full L&D Innovator application form, hosted on Typeform, by midnight on Thursday 31st December 2023. Applications after that time and date may not be included in the draw.
  11. To enter consideration, the survey via Typeform must be fully completed and submitted.
  12. Interactive Workshops will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.

    The Investments
  13. Four investments of £25,000 may be offered, across the four categories of Faster, Brighter, Closer and Stronger.
  14. Only one category can be entered per person, per organisation.
  15. The investment of £25,000 must be matched by at least the same investment from the organisation.
  16. Only four projects will be selected for the investment, one from each category.
  17. Interactive Workshops work with organisations does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
  18. Shortlisted applications will be invited to present ideas and receive input and feedback from Interactive Workshops.
  19. To be considered for shortlisting, the proposed idea must be:
    1. Considered conceptually innovative by Interactive Workshops.
    2. Be a completely new idea for the organisation.
    3. Unlike any previous or current L&D initiative Interactive Workshops has designed, developed or deployed or is in the process of discovering, designing or developing, or deploying with any of its current or former clientbase.
  20. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no alternative investment structure will be offered.
  21. In entering this contest, applicants agree to abide by your company’s relevant ethical policy including any anti-bribery policy in place. This is solely the responsibility of the participant.
  22. We reserve the right to substitute investment with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
  23. The decision of Interactive Workshops regarding any aspect of the contest is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

    Winners Announcement
  24. The relevant contact for shortlisted applications will be notified after 31st December 2023 via the contact details provided via the survey.
  25. If the given contact does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days of the third attempt to contact, they will lose their right to the prize, and Interactive Workshops reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner.

    Receipt of the Investment
  26. For winning applicants, Interactive Workshops’ investment(s) of £25,000 will appear as credit on the invoices for the chosen projects. Following Interactive Workshops’ standard invoicing practice of invoicing 50% up front and 50% on completion of the project, this investment will appear as £12,500 credit added to the first invoice and £12,500 added to the final invoice.
  27. Interactive Workshops reserves the right to amend the structure of this investment at any time, without prior notice.

    Data Protection and Publicity
  28. Applicants consent to any personal information provided in entering the contest being used by Interactive Workshops for the purposes of administering the investments, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.

  30. The winners agree to the release of their first name and place of work to any other contest participants if requested via Interactive Workshops.
  31. An announcement of the winners first name and place of work may be made via Interactive Workshops’ LinkedIn page subject to permission from the applicant.
  32. All personal information shall be used in accordance with Interactive Workshops Privacy Notice.

    Limitation of Liability
  33. Interactive Workshops does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the contest or being selected for an investment, save that Interactive Workshops does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.
  34. On receipt, all responsibilities relating to warranty and the product are that of the prize winner.

    General
  35. Interactive Workshops reserves the right to cancel the contest or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
  36. The contest and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
